Duke’s 21st Annual Tour de Cypress Bike Ride

The Tour de Cypress Bike Ride will celebrate its 21st anniversary year on April 19, 2025. Despite the unprecedented rain in 2024, our end of January registration is at a record number to date.

Hosted by the Mount Vernon Rotary Club and sponsored by Duke’s Travel Center, the ride consists of five routes from 10 to 62 miles, with two of the routes going over beautiful Lake Cypress Springs.

Except for the 10-mile route, riders begin (9am) and end on Smokey Row, where a band and Biergarten welcome them when they finish. The 10-mile route begins (9:15am) at the intersection of Scott and Kaufman streets and ends on Smokey Row.

The event raises money for Rotary projects such as leadership awards, dictionaries for third grade students, Blessings in a Backpack and Lunches of Love.
